Ralph Joseph Wixson

Born to George Milton Wixson (1854-1928) of New York & Agnes Josephine Elliott Wixson (1865-1949) of Illinois, who married about 1883 in Allen County, KS. They divorced before 1895. By 1905, George had returned to Bedford, NY and had married Jennie Fisher.

Ralph married Josephine McBride (1900-1967) on Jan. 12, 1923 in Eldorado. He was a drilling contractor and oil producer and owned R.J. Wixson Oil Company.

One daughter, Mary Elizabeth Wixson Spivey (1924-2003).

RALPH WIXSON MARRIED
Humboldt relatives and friends have received announcements from Mrs. A.J. Turner of Eldorado announcing the marriage of her daughter, Josephine McBride, to Mr. Ralph J. Wixson on Friday, January 12, 1923, at St. John's Catholic Church, Eldorado. Mr. and Mrs. Wixson will be at home after January 15 at 739 W. Third Avenue, Eldorado.

Mr. Wixson is a successful oil contractor. He is an old Humboldt boy, the oldest son of Mrs. Agnes Wixson, who now lives in Eldorado.
