RANDOLPH C MESSMAN

Randolph C. Messman, age 84, formerly of 1017 24th St., Two Rivers, died Thursday afternoon, October 17, 1996, at Hamilton Memorial Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 1996, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Larry Seidl with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. He was born July 5, 1912, in Two Rivers, son of the late August and Clara Benesh Messman. On June 26, 1937, he married the former Sophie V. Mrozinski at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death September 23, 1994. Randolph was employed with White Cap Brewery for 23 years and at H.C. Heilman Brewery retiring in 1975. Mr. Messman was also a member of St. Luke Catholic church. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard G. (Sam) and Bette Messman, Jerome (Jerry) and Jeanne Messman, Michael and Michelle Messman, all of Two Rivers; three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Gilbert Rahmlow, Susan and Wayne Zimmer, Christine and Mark Kellner, all of Two Rivers; 21 grandchildren, Kent, Kurt, Kim Messman, Craig, Dale, Reid and Troy, Messman, Jamie Messman, Kevin and Sandy Rahmlow, Wendy, Russell and Becky Domnitz, Jill Fricke, Jodi Scott and Jason Zimmer, Chad and Jennifer Kellner, Kari Posvic, Kory, Eric and Sara Deering; 10 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Donald Deering, Manitowoc; two sisters, Phyllis VanLaarhoven, Two Rivers, Generva Musial, Manitowoc; one brother, Glen Messman, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Deering, an infant son, Tom, two sisters, Connie and Joyce, a grandson, Kris Messman, and one brother, Warren. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Luke Catholic Church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
