Raymond C. Macomber

Raymond C. Macomber, 74, of 850 Arcade Ave., a former captain in the town's Ambulance Corp, died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Florence (Norberg) Macomber.
Born in East Providence, a son of the late Macy and Agnes (Chaffee) Macomber, he lived in Seekonk 45 years.
Mr. Macomber was a security guard for the Okonite Corp., East Providence, for 25 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Seekonk Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by three sons, five daughters, two sisters, 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
