Raymundo Romero Rojas

Padre Raymundo Roxas studied at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 1779. He was ordained by Archbishop Basilio Sancho de Santas Justa y Rufina in July 1780.

He was became one of the most eminent members of the Manila clergy, officiating the wedding between his nephew Domingo Rojas and Saturnina Ubaldo in Sta Cruz on 8 June 1813. Padre Raymundo was the parish priest of the Sta Cruz Church and secretary of the Archdiocese of Manila.
