It appears that Regine had fled to - the south of ? - France, probably in the company of further STOCK(K)NOPF family members, but was incarcerated in the Camp de Masseube and died there.

Which shows two individuals named Clara & Frieda STOCKKNOPF (misspelled) had arrived in the Camp de Masseube on 23 March 1943, were housed in Barraque # 14 and were not transferred on from there.

Which shows that a Rifka STOCKKNOPF (misspelled) was hospitalised on 19 May 1943 and died in Auch on 1 June 1943.

Rivka Regine Stockknopf nee Hand was born in Brzezany, Poland in 1865. She was a widow of Altter. Prior to WWII she lived in Vienna, Austria. During the war she was in Nice, France.

Rivka Regine was murdered in the Shoah (according to this source).
