MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 1 Raymond E. Soger, age 83, resident of Brainerd, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at Essentia Health St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Ray was born in Orr, MN June 28, 1928 to Oscar and Lola (Paavola) Soger. He served in the US Marine Corps 1946-1947. Ray and Genevieve Alice Muhar were married at St. Francis Church in Brainerd on June 30, 1949. He had been employed as a plumber at Babbitt Reserve Mining until his retirement. Ray was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the Eagles, and the American Legion.

Survivors include his daughter Linda (James) Fitch; two grandchildren; brothers: George, Russell (Jackie), and Donnie Soger; sisters: Margie Olsen and Norma Coughlin; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Genevieve Alice, his parents, and brothers Roy, Everett, and Larry.

Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
