Organzier of Leatherwood Baptist Church, south of Cornelia, Georgia, and kept the minutes for about 13 years, until shortly before he died. In the first two pages of this record book are given the names of the people in the group who organized this church. one member was Russell Davis, the father of Harriet Mahala Davis, who married Reuben's son, Birdet E. Cash. In this neighorhood is the Cash-Caudell Cemetery where Reuben and Elizabeth Buffinhton Cash are buried.
