Reuben Samuel Conlee

Reuben Samuel Conlee was born February 17th, 1790 in Tennessee. On November 7th, 1815 in Warren, Kentucky, he married Nancy Doyle, who was born in 1795 in North Carolina to parents Samuel Doyle (b. 1770 d. 1830) and Mahala Lovelace (b. 1774 d. 1852).

Nancy died in 1857 in Lee, Iowa. Reuben died December 23rd, 1846 in Iowa City, Iowa and is buried with other Conlee’s at the Wilson Pioneer Cemetery in Fort Madison, Iowa.
