About Reuben Cornett
Reuben Cornett was the son of David Cornett and wife Sarah Platt. He was born December 7, 1790 in Grayson County, Virginia. He was one of eight children. He married Celia Pennington on October 16, 1815 in Grayson County. Celia was the daughter of Benjamin Pennington and wife Beatrice. Reuben and Celia had fourteen children - five daughters and nine sons. Reuben died on February 14, 1875, in Grayson County, Virginia and was buried in the Reuben Cornett Family Cemetery in Grayson County.
