About Reuben Kemper

Reuben Kemper never married and served under Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans in the War of 1812. He also later served under Sam Houston when Texas fought for it's freedom from Mexico. For his service he was granted large land grants but didn't care to own the land.
