About Reuben Triplett
Reuben Triplett was a midshipmen for the Virginia Continental Navy during the Revolutionary War. He received a bounty of land after the war for his service. He served honorably along with at least a dozen other members of the extended Triplett family, including his brother Simon who was an Army Colonel.
