Rev Calvin Magehee

Calvin's headstone has long since fallen over. It states, "In memory of Calvin Magee Born Jan. 6, 1808. Died Dec. 16, 1882. Friendship's Offering".

Born in Pike Co, MS; married Catherine Russell 26 Dec 1829 and had several children. Catherine died in 1850. Calvin remarried in 1859 to the widow Mary Teresa (May) Young. He had 1 child by her (SB Magee). The family moved to TX in 1863. Calvin is buried beside his 2nd wife (Mary Teresa), 2 of his sons (Norvel Abner & Samuel Bullock), Norvel's wife (Carolyn), and an adopted daughter (Sally).
