Rev Edwin Roswell Fidler

Rev. Edwin R. Fidler, 92, of Catawba Island, Ohio passed away Monday, November 27, 2023. He was born September 27, 1931 the son of Dr. Roswell S. and Charlotte (Hunt) Fidler. He graduated from The Ohio State University and received his Master of Divinity from Hamma School of Theology in Springfield, OH. He married Mary Lee Williams on March 15, 1952. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Rev. Fidler served Resurrection Lutheran in Lebanon, OH, St. Andrew Lutheran in North Olmsted, OH, Advent Lutheran in Upper Arlington, OH, St. John Lutheran in Miamisburg, OH and Montra Lutheran Parish in Monroeville, OH.

Surviving are his wife: Mary Lee Fidler of Catawba Island; children: Kathy (Steven) Bobulsky of North Ridgeville, OH, Rev. Douglas (Rev. Deborah Wissner) Fidler of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Dr. Lee Anne (Gary) Siegmund of North Olmsted; grandchildren: Dan (Stacy) Fronczak, Elizabeth (Jason) Jones, Jennifer Bornancin, Benjamin (Molly) Fidler, Joseph Fidler, Nathan (Anne) Hinebaugh, Dr. Kristen (Eric) Maul; step-grandchildren: Dr. Gregory (Dr. Jamie) Bobulsky, Andrew (Eva) Bobulsky, Mark (Jonathon Yang) Siegmund, Laura Guarnera; 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson: Shaun Hinebaugh; brothers: Willis Fidler and Robert Fidler.
