"George Duncan (secundus), born 15th Sept. 1738, son of preceding; licen. by Presb. of Dumfries 2nd Aug. 1763; pres. by George III. 11th Sept. 1765 ; ord. 24th April 1766 ; clerk of Synod 21st Oct. 1783; died 17th March 1807, and was buried in the same grave as his father. He marr. 4th June 1770, Anne (died 20th July 1824, aged 79), daugh. of William M'Murdo, brewer, and bailie of Dumfries, and had issue —
