About Rev. Jesse Ruble
Jesse Ruble (also spelled Rubel) fought in the Indian Wars, receiving a wounded arm for which he was granted a pension. Circa 1804, he moved his family to Fairfield County, Ohio, where he became a minister (the reference to becoming a minister is from a biography on Fielden Ruble - son of Jesse and Sarah).
