About Rev. Melvin Alex Rader
The Rev. Melvin A. Rader, 67, of 811 Trego Road, Waverly, was dead on arrival Thursday at Pike Community Hospital.
A native of Scioto County, and retired employee of the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chillicothe, he was a World War II Army veteran, and a member and pastor of Trego Road Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Catherine Damron Rader; four sisters, Vidas Kelly of Ironton, Audrey Lawson of Wheelersburg, and Mae Williams and Ruby Weber, both of Baltimore, Md.; and a brother, Paul Eugene Rader of Lucasville.
