This Reverend Isaac Clever Garrison is the son of David Garrison and his wife, Hannah. "Garrison, Gamble and God" used to be the 3G chant at Westwood Methodist Church, Urwiler, Westwood, Hamilton Co, OH. Offhand, I was told this many years ago when I tried to understand my westside family heritage. It was the 3G's which had built, saved and preserved this church, long before the current Apple/ATT version of 3G, 4G. The Gamble House fiasco, still in the courts represents the west-side Gamble tie to Proctor & Gamble--remember P&G's destroying of the lovely old chapel over one weekend, so that no one could object-- the twin towers were build around the sacred early Methodist chapel, so why did P&G unilaterally sweep it away, when no one was left watching? Look around, the old stone chapel which was there when I was a child is there no longer...It was thanks to the west side neighborhood and church ties between the families that Mr. Gamble (James Norris Gamble) enabled the youngest son (Harry Harwood Garrison I) of Rev. Isaac Clever Garrison (1812/1901), to commence his first job (say 15-16 yrs old) sweeping the floors at the early P&G Ivory soap factory, Ivorydale. Isaac died at age 88 yrs of age.

One additional daughter, Hannah Louise Garrison Sibert, findagrave #39888461, of southern Indiana does not yet show on the list below, but she also left issue.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Sep 14 2020, 2:49:52 UTC
