James was a DNA "Poynton Warren". This I-M253 DNA is documented by at least 4 DNA tests by his desndants though his grandson Reuben Warren Jr. BIRTH 1790 • , Montgomery, GA & DEATH ABT. 1861 • Dublin, Laurens, GA. As well as several I-M253 DNA tests from descendants of his brother John "Copper" Warren (1713- Nov 1786 MEMORIAL ID 182843232.) And the I-FT23390 Big Y DNA test done by myself using my uncles DNA, Jimmy Warren (MEMORIAL ID 186986512), 5th Great Grandson of John "Copper" Warren.

20 Aug 1747 Patent awarded to James Warren Jr, Moores Creek was identified as on the south side of the Rivanna River, "Warrens of Amherst County, Virginia" by Holland D. Warren, Oct 1996 (6).
