She married in Great Bedwyn on December 5th 1865 to DANIEL RICHARD BRONSDON, who was born in Kintbury Berks c.1842 and who died in Eton 3/1915 (3a 812). He was a farm baliff. They had three children before she died in Marlborough 2/1875 (5a 56). Daniel remarried before 1881, when he was living in a cottage on Savoy Farm, Denham, Bucks with his second wife LOUISA POSTLE, who was born in Blofield c.1852. He later purchased his own farm, known as Orchard Farm, in Denham, which was passed to his sonAugustus. When this was demolished in the 1960s the road where it stood was re-named Bronsdon Way. The three children of Daniel and Rhoda were; 1. HERBERT CARTER BRONSDON, born Avebury c.1867. In 1881 he was lodging with his uncle Charles Brondson and his family at 2 Elliott Cottages, Lewisham. In 1891 he was living with his father, stepmother and brother in Denham, working as a carpenter. He married in Eton 3/1892 (3a 1001) to REBECCA COOK (b. Matching, Essex c.1866) and in 1901 they lived in Denham Village with their three children; a. ANNIE RHODA BRONSDON, born Denham July 23rd 1893. b. ALICE LOUISE BRONSDON, born Denham (Eton) 4/1895 (3a 636). She never married c. HERBERT CHARLES BRONSDON, born Denham (Eton) 2/1899 (3a 757). He died on June 22nd 1918 serving as a Private in the 3rd Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment, having previously served in the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He is buried in Montcornet Military Cemetery, France. 2. CHRISTOPHER THOMAS BRONSDON, born Avebury (Marlborough) 2/1871 (5a 83). In 1881 he lived with his grandparents Philip and Hannah, by 1891 he was a carpenter and living with his widowed uncle, James Marshall, in Bath Road, Woolhampton, Berkshire. He married in Brighton 4/1899 (2b 473) to ALICE ETHEL SLADE, who had been born in Elystanish, Australia c.1874, and in 1901 they were living at 3 Trinity St, Brighton, where he was employed as a coach makers labourer. 3. AUGUSTUS EUGENE BRONSDON, born Avebury (Marlborough) 1/1874 (5a 85), he died at Denham in January 1951. He lived with his father and step-mother until 1901, then married in on July 26th 1901 to HARRIET MARY LOUISA FOWLER. They had a daughter; a. MARY LOUISA BRONSDON, born Eton 3/1905 (3a 897). She married CHARLES RODNEY Tom SEYMOUR, who was born in Denham on May 8th 1902 and died in Hillingdon in 1983. They had two children; i. DEREK BRONSDON SEYMOUR, born in Denham on April 2nd 1934 and died in June 2006. He married in Denham on March 24th 1956 to MARIE THELMA SHELDRAKE. ii. ANN ELEANOR SEYMOUR 4. OLIVER HENRY BRONSDON, born in Marlborough in June 1875, he died in Eton 4/1942 (3a 1379). In 1881 he was living with his father and step-mother, then in 1891 with his aunt and uncle John and Rhoda Peck in Wallingford. He was a grocers assistant, employed by John Peck. He then joined the Army in May 1897 and served as a Gunner in the Royal Field Artillery for the next 22 years, retiring to pension in 1919, having served in Egypt, India and in the United Kingdom. He married in Denham c.1920 to LILIANPAYNE, who was born on August 28th 1899, they had one child; a. ENA SOPHIA BRONSDON, born September 2nd 1922, she died in June 2003. She married at Epsom 3/1948 (6a 961) to JOHN T JACK MASON, who was born on March 16th 1922, both were teachers. They had one daughter; i. SARAH MASON, born December 28th 1949. She married in 1974 to BEVERLEY HARRIS and have two children; 1. REBECCA HARRIS, born September 29th 1987. 2. DANIEL HARRIS, born October 19th 1989.
