Richard W. Comin

Birth: Jan. 30, 1938 Death: Oct. 22, 2004

COMIN, RICHARD W. "RICK" -Born January 30, 1938 in Portland, OR. After growing up in Portland and Greeley, CO and serving in the US Navy he settled in the Denver area. He retired from Public Service Company of CO in 1994 after more than 30 years of employment. He was a longtime member and past president of the Early Ford V-8 Club of America. During his lifetime he was involved in the restoration of many Classic Fords, Mercury's and Lincolns, several of which were award-winning automobiles. He enjoyed well-behaved pets, quiet children, and travel. He will be remembered for his knowledge, many skills, attention to detail, strong opinions and sense of humor. -He loved and was loved by his family which included his wife of 25 years, Joyce; daughters Kristine (Larry) Newell, Kerri Comin, Jana (Jim) Ottersberg, stepsons Andy (Andrea) Borchers, Dan (Cindy) Borchers; grandchildren Zac, Nick, Jake and Mandi Newell, Katelin and Kyle Meiser, Tyler and Charlee Ottersberg, Annie and Abbey Borchers; and brother Eldon (Barbara) Comin of Hermiston, OR. -Contributions may be made to Freedom Service Dogs, Inc., P.O. Box 150217, Lakewood, CO 80215, or the charity of your choice. The family will receive visitors at the Comin residence on Thursday, October 28, from 11am–2pm.
