"Kelly, Richard S, 1863-<1923 Born at Ashford Estate in Cong on the Mayo-Galway border in Ireland in around 1863. Richard was aged 27 when he arrived in Australia on 6 October 1891 with his mother and three siblings on board the Royal Mail Steamship Oroya. He may have been arrested in 1893 after assaulting a woman whilst drunk and details from this time onward are as yet unknown."
