She [Rose Ive Stoughton] att her owne charge or intere/ procurred Richard Knight, her daughter Knights son, a place in the Army/ in the Lowe Countries; Richard who was killed att Edge Hill fight in the Warre/ betweene the king & Parliament, whom the Lady Stoughton did much/ for & was a greate benefactor to; he left issue John & a daughter who lives /in London; he was a very Godly religious man; he was a Lieutenant Colonel/ for the Parliament;
