<p>Richard J. Paske, Sr. Richard J. Paske, Sr., 80, of Summit Twp. passed away on Thursday, September 7th, 2006 at Hamot MedicalCenter. Born in Erie on February 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Max and Gertrude (Borchert) Paske. Mr. Paske served in the US Navy as a Motor Machinist Mate aboard a landing ship in the Battle ofI.E. Shima, the Philippine Liberation, and the Battle of Okinawa. Before his retirement in 1989 as an industrial engineer, he worked at Hays Manufacturing for 31 years, and at Uniflow Manufacturing for 11 years. He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed woodworking and making wishing wells as a hobby. He was a scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 22 at Cascade Methodist Church. He was preceded in death byhis wife, Jean A. Paske, in 1984; and a brother, Emil Paske. Survivors include two sons, Richard J. Paske, Jr., wife, Sandra, of Erie, and Craig Paske, wife, Diane, of Kentucky; a daughter, Susan Lowe, husband, Ross, of Erie; two nieces; one nephew; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren, all of Erie, also survive. Friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 W. 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there Monday at 12 p.m. with Rev.
