Obituary August 19, 1915

R. R. RIDINGS This morning, R. R. Ridings, who was reported two weeks ago as being very ill with a large carbuncle on his left shoulder, died after suffering many days. A trained nurse, Miss MARY CHAPMAN, was employed and she waited on him. Mr. Ridings was one of the oldest settlers of this country, well known. He is an old member of the Woodmen of the World, oldest in the lodge. He was a man of 57 winters. The doctors who treated him said it was one of the worst carbuncles they had ever treated. His remains were laid to rest in the Hollis Cemetery arranged by the W.O.W.
