Richard and Rebecca immigrated in 1639 from England to Charlestown, MA, moving to Boston and then to Cambridge, Middlesex Cty, MA. Richard shared in the divcision of Church lands (sic) in 1652 Recieving 80 acres. In 1678 he gave deeds to his sons Samuel 36 acres and Nathaniel 34 acres.

Richard married 2nd wife Elizabeth Coolidge on 03/26/1673 in Cambridge Middlesex Cty. MA In 1680 Richard Robbins was a juror at trials for witchcraft. Richard dated a deed 1681, conveyed to his daughter Rebecca & her husband John Woodward 30 acres of land in what became Cambridge Village, near the Upper Falls, Counded on the South by the Charles River, the North by away lending to Lower Fallas, EAst by the land of Suine Pelham West by Thomas Croswell. The deed was witnessed by Thomas Greenwood & John Hall.
