Rina Spangenberg (1933 - 2019)

Brief overview:

Rina (86), was raped then bludgeoned in her house in Warrenton, Northern Cape on Saturday 2nd November 2019. She passed away shortly afterwards in hospital due to her injuries. The only items stolen were groceries and a television. Celeste Stroebel (48), her disabled niece, found her just after 11pm, where she was lying in a pool of blood in the dining room. She was allegedly assaulted with a blunt object and suffered severe head injuries. Stroebel, who lived in Spangenberg for many years, called for help.
