Mystery of Oak Island
Robert Restall and His Son
Five decades later, the mystery surrounding Oak Island was all the bigger. One of the brave explorers who arrived at the island in the '50s, with one goal in mind, was Robert Restall.
Restall came in 1959 with a small crew, which included his 18-year-old son, his close friend, and several other employees. During the search, he did find an interesting stone from 1704, but his adventure, unfortunately, didn't have a happy ending.
Restall passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning together with his son while exploring the shaft
