Edson, Robert of Toronto, age 77 ,on June 1 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Dov Ber and Asna, siblings Jack, Michael, Fay, David, Mary, Sam, Aubie, and Dr. Irving. Survived by his loving and devoted wife Mary, children Barry(Esther),Brenda Tilner and Beth Sokol ( Dr. Lorne), brother Henry, grandchildren Ari,Shaya,Chana Leah, Jordan, Rachel, Samantha, Simon and Ben and numerous cousins, nieces,nephews and friends and sister in law Sophie Hirsch. Retired agent with Prudential Assurance Company and lifetime member of the insurance industry's prestigious MDRT. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
