Robert LeRoy Ford

<p>Born as Leroy Ford, and 1910 census shows his name was Leroy Ford. When he was going to marry Edith Martha Webb, she did not like the name Leroy, so asked him to change it to Robert Leroy Ford. He wrote to Illinois and asked for  his birth Certificate as Robert Leroy Ford, but they could not find that name, they only found Leroy Ford.  He them wrote back to let them knowsomeone must have made a mistake, and they updated the birth record in Illinois.  This is what what my grandfather told me when I was young (I am Robert A. Ford), and he reminded me a few times as I grew up. </p>
