Fake Pedigrees
According to one pedigree published by MyHeritage, Robert Gordon, here treated, the husband of Margaret Livingston is the son of Robert Gordon and Janet Gordon (born Aghterstoune). Another four pedigrees claim that he is the son of Robert Gordon, Agnes Gordon (born Maitland). One of the last four goes further and claims that his father was Robert Gordon of Straloch. None of the claims made are supported by verifiable record evidence. My Heritage
