• His wife was Hannah* at the time he made this will – she gets various specific goods
• Some specific goods to Thomas and Susan – children
• Brother in law William Davis and Francis Hatch paid money in trust for the benefit of Hannah in lieu of dower or thirds but if she insisted on her dower then it went to his son John – after her death split equally between all grandchildren then alive (and their surviving children if dead gets the share the parent would have had)
• William (son) gets 500 pounds
• William Davis and Francis Hatch trust for Thomas of 500 pounds
• Elizabeth Hatch (daughter) gets 50 Pounds
• Mary Need (daughter) gets 50 pounds
• Sarah, Ann, Hannah, Hester and Susan (daughters) get 300 pounds each (they are all unmarried at the time of making the will)
