MEMORIAL PHOTOS 3 FLOWERS 1 Robert Anderson Miller, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2003.Services 1 p.m. Saturday, Covenant Presbyterian Church, graveside service 2:45 p.m. Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. He was born September 6, 1922 in St. Louis, Mo. He was the second son of George Dewey and Olive Muriel Miller. He attended H.S. in Sedgwick, graduating in 1941. He served in the Army during WW II and was awarded the Bronze Star. On March 23, 1946 he married Mary Helen Fyfe at Bethel Baptist Church, Bethel, KS. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after more than 42 years of government service. He was on the school board at N. Riverside Elemtary, assisted in planning of Wichita Heights H.S. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and American Legion Post in Sedgwick. Survivors: wife, Mary of Wichita; sons, Edward of Wichita, Raymond of Hanahan, SC; brother, Gene of Hutchinson; sister, Morjorie Ellen Pierce of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Brent Miller of Shawnee, Alyson Miller of San Francisco, CA, Michelle Helweg of Tampa, FL, Ross Miller of Maumelle, AR and two great-grandchildren.
