Robert H. Runk, 76, of 17 Gail St., died Sunday at 1:10 a.m. at the Hanover General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Maude O. Rickrode Runk, who died July 6, 1943. Prior to his retirement he was employed by The Hanover Shoe Inc. He was the son of the late Wesley and Cora Shue Runk. Surviving are two sons, Sterling Runk, 21 Granger St., and Donald Runk, 258 Third St.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Nevin Alwine, pastor of Wayne Hill Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Va., will officiate at the funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening. Pallbearers will be Richard Kale, Clair Rickrode, Randy, Richard and Ronald Runk and Kenneth Schuchart.
