About Robert Spotswood, Capt.

Capt. Robert Spotswood served in a contingent of the British-American Army under George Washington during the French and Indian War. He was killed while with a scouting party near Fort Duquesne (ruins of the Fort are at Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh, Pa.).
