Roberta Smith

Was the seventh child of Sippeo and Eleanor Gardner, born February 4, 1908. Roberta worked in various occupations including laundry service and owned several restaurants (in Tucson, AZ and Richmond, CA). Roberta had a daughter, Versie who, in turn, had 8 children. Roberta later married Douglas Smith and had four other children: Minnie born January 29, 1924, Geneva (Chick) born during 1926, Henry born during 1928 and Cardella born during 1930. Only Minnie and Cardella had children. Roberta later married Donnie Richardson (Mr. Donnie) after Douglas Smith. Donnie was a college graduate with a good job and was a good step-father to Minnie and her sisters.
