Rodney Lewis Toole

Rodney Toole, 86, of Warrenville, SC, beloved husband of forty-four wonderful years to Mrs. Josephine “Jo” Messer Toole, entered into rest peacefully on Monday, August 28th, 2017.
A lifelong area resident, he was a son of the late Oliver Wray and Bennie Hankinson Toole.
He was a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church and worked for E.I. DuPont, where he was a Production Operator for twenty-eight years. Mr. Toole was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed repairing bicycles for under privileged children, camping, traveling and playing cards with his family. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his children, Sherry Weathers and her husband, Tommy, Graniteville, SC, Richard Toole, Warrenville, SC, Tammy Toole Jackson, Warrenville, SC and Rodney “Sam” Toole and his wife, Theresa, Graniteville, SC; step-sons, Bubba Toole and his wife, Joan, Warrenville, SC and the late Raymond Toole, Koran Glover and his wife, Bernadette, who Mr. Toole loved as a son, siblings, Mary Harris, Aiken, SC, Patricia Conley, Clearwater, SC, Ellen Galloway, Warrenville, SC, Ross Toole, Warrenville, SC, the late Charlie Toole and the late Byrdie Toole Roberts, grandchildren, Amanda Clark, Logan Jackson, Erin Carter and her husband, Ryan, Madison Jackson and Seth Toole, step-grandchildren, Chris Toole, Miranda Skinner and her husband, Kenny, April Toole and the late Debbie Toole Deese, two great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, Graniteville, SC.
