Bill of Sale: Henrick Ryke to Roelof Verkerck, (Liber A:187, 189.) Desc.:

A piece of land on S. side adjacent to purchaser's land and E. of the division line between Uytrecht and Midwout and N. of lots of the widow of Rems. Jans, being the rear half of the lot that at present is used by Harmen Hey, which aforesaid land takes its beginning from the rear fence between the purchaser's land and Jacob Hendrix with the appurtenance and equity thereof. The half lot of 3350 g., half in money and half in winter wheat in 3 installments them being on the 20th of January 1688, 1689, and 1689/90 for 1100 g. and 1150 g. Comments: Note that Hendrick Reyke Smit (smith) owned lot 15 about this time. This lot placed here since Roelf Verkerck owns lot 36 N.

Page 154. Mutual partition made this 6th day of May 1689 between Roeloff Verkerck, Aert Verkerck, Barent Verkerck, and Jan Verkerck, sunns of Jan Verckerck, dec'd, that they are agreed together concerning the estate of their father as follows:Barent Verkerck and Jan Verkerck being the youngist' brother shall have the halve lengths of two lotts of land lying at New Uytrecht the neerist to the hills at the west side and stretching in length about 600 rodd. Northerly and Southerly as above said the right halve of the length to with 300 rodd, and they shall have two new lotts lying at New Uytrecht by the great pan betwicx the lot of Ruth Joosten and the lott of Gysbert Thyssen, and Jan Vandyck with the privilidge in the common wood for one lott signed in the presence of Aucke Janse, Johannes Van Ekelen. Recorded May 21, 1689.
