This profile describes Roger Cory, born Sep 1665. His birth location is not certain. Whereas an online database lists it as occurring at Dartmouth [1] (adjunct to the Plymouth Colony), his online memorial site lists Tiverton, Rhode Island Colony. These locations were not widely separated.
His parents probably were Mary (Earle; 1631 - 1717) and William Corey (1634 - 1682).
He married 1 May 1718 at Tiverton (which at that time was temporarily apportioned into the Massachusetts Colony), Rememberance (Potter) Dye [2], widow of John Dye [3]. They had perhaps 6 children:

Roger Cory inherited the southern half of lot #22 of the Pocasset Purchase from his father. He was not listed as a land owner at the incorporation of Tiverton on 2 Mar 1692, although his brother, Thomas, was named.
Will is dated Jan 6, 1753, and proved on June 3, 1754. Exx wife Remembrance and son Thomas.
Sons William (eldest), Caleb, Roger, Thomas of Tiverton and son Samuel of Richmond were given five shillings. William was also given "all my lands lying in said Tiverton during his natural life and after his life my will is that it shall be divided amongst my Daughters, namely Patience, Deliverance, Sarah, Rosannah, and Content in the following manner So that Content shall have a Double Share and the rest of my Daughters each a Single Share of said land and after my Son William's Decease and Futher my Will is that my Daughter Content live with my Son William During his life". His wife Remembrance was given all his Movable Estate after just debts, funeral charges, and legacies be satistfied.
