Roger Larkin

Biography

Roger Larkin was born 1671 in Stonington and died in 1755 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island. He was the son of Edward Larkin and Lydia.

He married in 1699 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut to Hannah Babcock, daughter of James Babcock and Jane Brown. She was born in 1676 and died in 1718.

Roger Larkin and Hannah Babcock had the following children:

1. John, b. Abt 1704, married Sarah Tucker.
2. Samuel b c1708, d aft 1755. Married Sarah Crandall.
3. Anna b abt 1710, married John Hall.
4. Sarah, married a Lake.

Roger Larkin married Rebecca Knight, widow of Jabez Tucker, on 19 Mar 1730, who survived him, and died 1756.

Roger’s will is dated 16 January 1755 and proved on 25 February 1755 in Westerly, Rhode Island.[3] His inventory was taken on 25 February 1755.[3]
