Roger Prewitt 73 of Jeffersonville husband of Norma Prewitt passed from this life Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and delivered mail for 25 years from which he retired. He is survived by his wife Norma Prewitt of Jeffersonville, one son James David Prewitt and his wife Regina of Mt. Sterling, one daughter Rhonda Gilmore and husband Gary of Winchester, five grandchildren Kayla Elizabeth Prewitt, James Blake Prewitt and wife Kathleen, Samuel Gilmore, Mary Elizabeth Gilmore and Rebekah Gilmore, three brothers Albert Prewitt of Mt. Sterling, Catesby Prewitt of Mt. Sterling, Davis Prewitt of Paducah, Jane Martin of Mt. Sterling, Anna Wills of Paris, Bettye Sopher of Paris, and Lillian Robert of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Sophia Prewitt, three brothers Tommy Prewitt, Strauter Prewitt, Brian Prewitt, Emma Prewitt, Bernice McCall, Eileen Culbertson and Bertha Wallace. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Jeffersonville Assembly of God with Bro. Robbie Conn, Bro Dale Payne and Bro. Todd Radar officiating. Friends may visit Monday from 5 till 9 PM at the church. Burial will be in the Machpelah Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
