"Rollo C. Snyder, 87, formerly of Titusville, died at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, in the Oil City Presbyterian Home where he had been a resident since April 16, 1998.

Born April 12, 1912, in Enterprise, Southwest Township, Warren County, he was a son of Andrew J. and Sadie DYKEMAN Snyder.

Mr. Snyder formerly was employed as a truck unloader for Lyons Trucking and later worked in maintenance at Drake Well Park. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees

Mr. Snyder was married in Titusville in August 1931 to the former Clara BROWN, who died June 17, 1987.

Surviving are three children, Carl H. Snyder and his wife, Barbara, of Oil City, Richard E. Snyder of Titusville and Eva and Christopher THARP of Titusville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother, Cyril R. Snyder of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by two daughters, Gertrude Pat WARNER and an infant, Shirley Snyder; two sons, Charles L. Snyder and Ronald K. Snyder; a sister, Nellie ANTHONY; and a brother, Ervin Snyder.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, Titusville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Suppa, pastor of St. Teresa Church of Union City, officiating. Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Northwestern Pennsylvania Chapter, 110 W. 10th St., Suite 212, Erie, Pa., 16501, or to a charity of one's choice."
