Murdoch (Murchadh Ruadh) settled at Big Beach Rear. He married Margaret, daughter of Rory McDougall (Miller). Issue: — Mary, Sarah, Ann, Nancy, John, Rory, Dan C., and Michael.

Rory learned the blacksmith trade; and he had charge of the Dom-Coal Co. forge at Reserve Mine for many years. He married Christie Ann McNamara of Reserve. Issue: Maggie, Gregory, and Mary Louise. He is now employed at the Sydney Steel works.
