Donald McNeil “Farmer"
This man was a son of Rory McNeil (Donald Og) who came from Barra in 1822, and settled on Iona Rear, now called Barra Glen. When he married Margaret, the widow of Rory McNeil (Neil Ban), he settled on the estate of his wife’s first husband, at Christmas Island.

The issue of this marriage was: — Christie, Hugh, Mary, Elizabeth, and Rory.

Rory married Sarah, daughter of Murdock McNeil (Red), and had a large family at Sydney Mines.
