<p>Northern Star (Lismore, NSW) Oct 12 1945</p>. Rose Ann Toohey, relict of the late James Austin Toohey. Mrs. Toohey had resided at Woodview, Tenterfield Road, for the past 38 years, and she was 76 years of age at the time of her death. She was born at Gunning and was married to .the late Mr Toohey, at Grenfell. Eight children survive her. They are Mesdames R. Perry (Brisbane), C. E. Logan (Mallanganee), Sister de Pazzi (Convent of Mercy, Cowper), Mrs. R. Lind (Petersham) and Matron C. Toohey. of Padna Hospital, Coogee. Sons are Martin Toohey (Laidley, Queensland), Rupert (Woodview), and Reginald (Mal langanee). The remains were brought by train to Casino, the funeral taking place this after noon from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church to Casino cem etery. The services at the church and graveside were taken by ¡Rev. Father Murphy.Pall-bearers were Martin. Rupert and Reginald Too hey (sons), Albert and Victor Logan (grandsons), and Michael Croke.
