Mrs. Rose Etta Wolverton, lifelong resident of the St.Paul community, died at 3:00 o'clock this morning at the home of a son, Robert Wolverton in St.Paul. Mrs. Wolverton had been in failing health for the past six months and her condition had been serious since Sunday. She was 76 years of age.
She was born in St.Paul on February 9, 1873, the daughter of John and Mary (Dilts) Dodds. In 1900 she was married to Leander Wolverton who preceded her in death on April 5, 1930.
Surviving with the son at whose home she died, are another son, Norman of St.Paul; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Charles Dodds of Wheatland, Wyo., Alonzo of Shelby County and Amos of St.Paul.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Carmony Funeral Home in St.Paul with Rev. W.F.McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Paul Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:00 o'clock this evening.
