Ruby Lucille McBee

RUBY LUCILLE "KENDELL" McBEE, 87 Ruby Lucille McBee, of warner, was born April 4, 1916 in Harper County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Commodore Perry and Carrie Mae (Handley) Kendell. She died Monday, February 16, 2004 in Warner, Oklahoma. Ruby spent a lifetime of loving and caring for her family. She was dedicated to her church, Warner First Assembly of God, where she taught Sunday School, played the piano, and was a great prayer warrior, She was a well known quilter at the Warner Community Center, giving many hours to help others. Mrs. McBee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Henry McBee and four sisters. Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Raymond McBee, Jr. and his wife Mable, and William (Bill) McBee and his wife Lillian, all of Warner; daughters Delores Paige, of Warner and Geneva Moore and her husband Billy of Alvarado, Texas; twelve grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. McBee will be held Thursday February 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Warner First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Clarence Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow in Warner Memorial Cemetery with Mrs. McBee's grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
