Rudolf Strakosch (b. 1815) was the 20-years-younger brother of Salomon Strakosch of Bučovice (b. 1795). Their father was Löbl [the Elder], and Rudolf's mother was Löbl's 2nd wife, Susanna Korasch. Salomon witnessed Rudolf's birth record, July 1815 (in Czech Jewish Registers, Bučovice, Image 24 of 82); see in MEDIA.
Rudolf's birth appears in Bučovice Births, Image #24 of 82; witness was Sohn Sallomon (20 years older; different mother).
In 1843, Rudolf married Paula/Pauline, eldest child of that older brother Salomon; she was born in 1819, thus 4 years younger than Rudolf.

The book 1867-1967: 100 Years of the Strakosch Brothers' Zuckerfabrik does not mention Rudolf (see discussion of Nathan Strakosch family), but Centralblatt für Verwaltungs-Praxis: Beiheft zum Oesterreichischen Centralblatt für die Juristische Praxis: unter Mitwirkung namhafter Fachgelehrter und Praktiker, Vol. 1, by Dr. Leo Geller, 1886 (pp. 801-02) does: "Since 1865, Rudolf Strakosch and Sigmund Böhm were partners . . . until the death of RS when his wife, Pauline Strakosch, stepped in. In 1877 the son, Isidor Strakosch, was appointed, in a new firm called Rudolf Strakosch & Comp." Book is at http://books.google.com/books?id=1L4vAQAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover&s...
