Ruth Bachman

Ruth K. Bachman, 80, of Conestoga, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her residence. Born January 28, 1928, in Conestoga, she was a daughter of the late Walter H. and Myrtle (Good) Kneisley. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Bachman.

Mrs. Bachman was a member of Conestoga United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Sunshine and United Methodist Women's Clubs. Ruth also enjoyed crochet and spending time with her loving family.

Mrs. Bachman is survived by her daughters: Vickie, wife of William Rice and Patti, wife of Kurt Eitnier, both of New Providence; a son: Richard, husband of Teresa Bachman of Conestoga; a brother: Roy Kneisley of Conestoga; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ruth is predeceased by a brother, Walter G. Kneisley, and a sister, Mae Sensenich.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at Conestoga United Methodist Church, 71 Sand Hill Road, Conestoga with Rev. Richard E. Wilcock officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. The Gundel Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
