Research Notes

According to one source, John and Ruth's daughter, Ruth, married John Butler October 10, 1714.[5] However, according to a different source, this John Brown who married Ruth Huse, had a daughter Ruth who was born in 1695, and died unmarried at Newbury, in 1744. In her will she gave her estate to Ruth Brown, daughter of her cousin, Joshua Brown of Haverhill.[4]
