Ruth Ann Goldsmith

Ruth Rawlings Goldsmith, 88, of Brandywine died June 7, 2011. She was born Feb. 20, 1923 in Hughesville, Maryland.Mrs. Goldsmith was a retired school teacher with the Prince Georges County school system. She belonged to the Baden Volunteer Fire Department. She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Baden. She loved being with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Brooks and son-in-law, David Sr.; Grandchild, David A. Brooks Jr. and his wife, Tana; and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Grace Anne, Steven and Robert. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. where funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 @ 10 am. Burial will take place at Immanuel United Methodist Cemetery, Baden. The Rev. James Chance will officiate.
